In general it could be stated that the Arabic word الله, transliterates to "Allah" and is translated into English as "God."
However we can take a more nuanced approach to describing this process. For example:
The Arabic word الله, transliterates to "Allah" in written English, translates into spoken English as "/ˈæ.lə/," is interpreted into written English as "God," is interpreted into spoken English as /"gad"/ (which looks weird but that is the phonetic spelling using the "a" sound that shows up in words like "father" or "palm" -- in other words it sounds like "gawd"), and glossed (in English glossing of ASL) as GOD.
