Dear ASL Heroes,
This area is being supplied to help with the feedback process.
Use the links above to submit your answers to the Voc Dev disk quizzes. When you click on the "get score" (submit) button the web page will (should) automatically forward your answers to me and tell you your percentage on the quiz.
Then after everyone has submitted a particular quiz, I'll email the "right answers" to you so you can compare those answers with your answers to see what ones you need to improve on.
Before using the links above, make sure you have studied the corresponding Vista Signing Naturally workbook chapter. Use the "word list" on the Vocabulary Development Disk to help you figure out the vocabulary for that chapter. Then watch the video quiz on the Voc Dev disk and write down (or type or whatever) your answers to the Voc Dev quiz for that chapter. Then use your newly created list to choose the right answers in the quiz submission links on this page.
Now, some of you might think you are clever and come up with some method to "cheat" on these quizzes. That would be silly, since they are being provided to HELP YOU prepare you for the immersion. While it is true they will count for part of your grade (about 10%), don't think of them as quizzes, think of them as tools or warm-up exercises. If you work hard now it will pay off during the in-person portion of the immersion.
Cordially,
- Dr. Vicars
Note: the above quizzes are new. That means if you find a bug I want to know about it. There are over 176,000 characters (letters and spaces) of code in those quizzes and some of them were posted at 2 a.m. So I won't be shocked if I made a mistake here and there. But I really did strive to do a good job and make it a smooth experience for you to turn in your answers. - Dr. Vicars
