Why Should I Volunteer for This Study?
Volunteering will help improve Technology for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing around the World. Just imagine the possibility of being able to fingerspell or sign to your smart-phone or television to give commands; like the Hearing do with Google Talk. Imagine driving up to a fast-food restaurant and finger-spelling your order into your smart-phone or tablet and the tablet speaks to the person taking your order. Tony is working on his doctorate in Computer Science. He grew up with 2 Deaf sisters who went to CSUN and a Deaf brother who went to Gallaudet. He is also helping teach Junior Achievement students at Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind this year. His dream is to promote new Deaf-friendly technologies and encourage Deaf and HH youth (and adults) to join in the creating of those technologies.
Please, go ahead and sign up now. Thank you!
