DETECTIVE: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "detective"
A detective refers to a member of the police force or a private investigator who gathers information and evidence.

 

The ASL sign for 'detective' has variations.

 

One way is to use the ASL sign for "POLICE" to also mean detective depending on the context used.

 

POLICE:

 

Or there are two initialized versions for 'detective' one moves in a circle the other taps.
