Notes:
Someone suggested signing NOT+ENCOURAGE to mean "discouraged"
That raises the question:
Is "not encourage" the same thing as "discouraged?"
I would suggest that those are related but separate concepts.
You did great by sharing the link -- I'll just suggest that these are three different things:
1. don't encourage / not encourage
2. discourage
3. discouraged
The spreadthesign version showed the first meaning (above).
Meaning #2 will need a bit of expansion: "IX-(that person) SUGGEST YOU NOT (fs)-DO-IT! (Or some other discouraging statement)
Meaning #3 will use one of several approaches that indicate discouragement has occurred. The exact sign or combination of signs will depend on the type of discouragement being felt or experienced.
