flea: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "flea"

Also see: "insects"

The concept of a "flea" is typically just fingerspelled in ASL.

However, after context has been established, you can use the pinched thumb and index finger to indicate (or depict) grabbing and moving a flea.

You can also use a cocked index finger quickly opening up into a straight index finger and moving through the air to show (depict) the movement path of a flea.
