ASL: "target"

The right sign for "target" depends on what you mean by target.

Notes:
An ASL Hero (Cassonda Tadlock) commented on the instructional video "Vocabulary Expansion Series 2019-08-17a":

QUESTION:  Dr. Bill, my friend (she is DEAF) showed me to sign Target in front of the face ending the pointer on the nose (not on the hand.)
What say you?

RESPONSE:
The "index finger circled to the nose" version of TARGET-[store] is a cool version of the sign -- and an obvious evolution toward de-initialization (the removing of English initials) of the older initialized version of the sign. I'll add that version to my (eventual) "TARGET-[store]" page at Lifeprint.com
