VEGAN: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "vegan"

Vegan: Spell it.
You might see some specific sign for "vegan" pop up now and then but it won't be widespread. Seriously, the safe approach is to fingerspell it:

If you have to explain it one way that is fairly clear in ASL is to sign:

NONE ANIMAL PERIOD!

Notes:

Notes:  A vegan is 'a person who does not eat any food derived from animals and who typically does not use other animal products." (Source: Oxford Dictionary)
A vegan diet is one that contains no animal products.
