POCKET: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "pocket"
 

If you mean "POCKET" as in "a piece of fabric that forms a pouch for carrying items" there are variations for how to sign that meaning depending on where the pocket is located.

 

POCKET (pants) version 1:

 

POCKET (pants) version 2:

 

POCKET (shirt):

 


 

If you mean "POCKET" as in to "to take possession of as one's own" (to pocket public funds) there are a few signs that could convey that meaning.

 

One way to convey that version is to sign STEAL:

 

Another sign that could fit that meaning is HIDE:

 


 

If you mean "POCKET" as in "small" (pocket watch) you could fingerspell POCKET before the object.
