SUFFER: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "suffer"
Can also mean things such as: endure, tolerate, bear / bear with (not the animal), go through.

 

The sign for suffer is similar to the signs for PATIENCE, SECRET, and PRIVATE.

The movement and facial expression plus context help distinguish "SUFFER" from similar signs.

 

SUFFER:
This sign is similar to PATIENT except the sign SUFFER uses a twisting movement as it moves downward.


Sample sentence: I can't stand it!
