PATIENCE: The American Sign Language (ASL) sign for "patience"
The sign for patient as in "patience" is different from the type of patient that you find in a hospital. For that version go to the PATIENT page and scroll down a bit.
 

Can also mean things such as: restraint, composure, willingness to endure.

 

PATIENT:
Put your thumbnail on your chin and drag it downward about 2 inches.


If you want to express the concept of being "impatient" you would sign "PATIENCE NONE / NONE PATIENCE:"

 


Sample sentence: Are you patient?
